MODIFIED FINGERPRINT PROCESS - COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Persons needing fingerprints for employment purposes, background checks, etc., first need to call 712.279.6010 Ext: 5010 and schedule an appointment for your prints. Once you have scheduled your appointment, please arrive on time and go to the Sheriff's Administration Office on the first floor of the Law Enforcement Center, 407 7th Street, Sioux City, Iowa. You are required to have a facemask in place during the fingerprinting process. We cannot provide the facemasks. Fingerprints are taken Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30A and 11:30A and again from 1:00P to 3:00P. There is a $6.00 per card fingerprint fee, or $8.00 if you do not have fingerprint card(s). After paying the fees, you will be directed to the LEC lobby where Sheriff's Office personnel will provide the fingerprint service. Thank you.
