NOVEMBER 6, 2003 - SPECIAL MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

The Board of Supervisors met on Thursday, November 6, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. to canvass the City of Bronson Regular City Election of November 4, 2003. Board members present were Batcheller, Walish and Welte; Boykin and Clausen were absent. Staff member present was Patrick F. Gill, Commissioner of Elections/Clerk to the Board.

Patrick F. Gill, Commissioner of Elections, announced there was one special challenge ballot which was rejected and no after election absentee ballots.

Motion by Welte second by Batcheller to accept the official canvass from the Regular City Election of November 4, 2003 for the City of Bronson which was being canvassed due to being under the run off method of election. Carried 3-0.

The votes were as follows:

For the office of City of Bronson Mayor there were sixty-five (65) ballots cast as follows:

Lisa Crilly received Twenty-four 24 votes
Ava M. Lewon received Thirty-eight 38 votes
Scattered Write-Ins received Two 2 votes

We therefore declare Ava M. Lewon duly elected to the office of City of Bronson Mayor, for the term of two (2) years.


For the office of City of Bronson Council Members there were sixty-five (65) ballots cast as follows:

James D. Amick received Twenty-seven 27 votes
Randy D. Amick received Fifty-one 51 votes
David M. Junge received Forty-three 43 votes
Scattered Write-Ins received Two 2 votes

We therefore declare Randy D. Amick and David M. Junge duly elected to the office of City of Bronson Council Members, for the term of four (4) years.
