250th St. Paving Project - Roadway is open to traffic

Work is complete on 250th Street/County Route D50 between Highway 31 and Mason Avenue/County Route L27.   The road opened shortly after 4:00 on July 26, 2024.

The $2.4 million dollar project is the final project that is partially funded by the Special Project Levy that was paid by county property taxes ending in 2018.   The lag in time between grading, which was completed in 2021, and paving has allowed the road grade to settle over three winters and achieve stability prior to paving.
