Woodbury County Zoning Commission to hold public hearing about solar energy systems regulations in Moville on September 11
The Woodbury County Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing about the regulation of utility-scale solar energy systems in the unincorporated areas of Woodbury County on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 5:00 PM at the Moville Area Community Center, 815 Main St, Moville, IA 51039 in the large meeting room.
The Commission has been directed by the Woodbury County Board of Supervisors on August 8 to examine new ordinance proposals as it relates to utility-scale solar systems. The public may submit any written comments or concerns they may have for the record to the Woodbury County Community & Economic Development office, 620 Douglas St., Sixth Floor, Sioux City, IA 51101.
