NOVEMBER 8, 2007 - SPECIAL MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

The Board of Supervisors met on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. to canvass the City of Bronson Regular City Election of November 6, 2007. Board members present were Boykin, Clausen, Monson, and Walish. Batcheller was absent. Staff members present were Victoria L. Ritz, Deputy Commissioner of Elections, and Patrick F. Gill, Auditor/Clerk to the Board.

Meeting was called to order.

Victoria L. Ritz, Deputy Commissioner of Elections, announced there were no provisional or after-election absentee ballots to be added to the Talley.

The votes were as follows:

For the office of City of Bronson Mayor there were fifty-four (54) ballots cast as follows:

Don Ronfeldt
received Fifty-four (54) votes

Scattered write-ins
received Two (2) votes

We therefore declare Don Ronfeldt duly elected to the office of City of Bronson Mayor, for the term of two (2) years.


For the office of City of Bronson Council Members (2 vacancies) there were one-hundred, sixteen (116) ballots cast as follows:

Randy D. Amick
received Fifty-three (53) votes

David M. Junge
received Fifty-six (56) votes

We therefore declare Randy D. Amick and David M. Junge duly elected to the office of City of Bronson Council Members, for the term of four (4) years.

Motion by Boykin second by Clausen to accept the official canvass from the Regular City Election of November 6, 2007 for the City of Bronson, which was being canvassed due to being under the run off method of election. Carried 4-0.

The Board adjourned the meeting.
