May 24, 2010 — SPECIAL MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

The Board of Supervisors met on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. Board members present were Boykin, Clausen, Monson, Smith, and Walish.  Staff members present were Karen James, Board Administrative Coordinator, Dennis Butler, County Auditor’s Office and Pat Gill, Clerk to the Board.  Others present representing the Woodbury County Conservation Department were Rick Schneider, Director, Frank Gray, County Conservation Board Member and Christine Zellmer-Zants, County Conservation Board Member and Mark Olson representing Juvenile Detention.

Meeting was called to order.

A presentation was given by Dennis Butler on the conservation department structure.

Rick Schneider presented the long term goals of the Conservation Department.

The Board discussed the needs and concerns of the Woodbury Conservation Department.

A presentation was given by Dennis Butler on the Juvenile Detention Department structure.

Mark Olson presented the long term goals of the Juvenile Detention Department.

The Board discussed the needs and concerns of the Woodbury County Juvenile Detention Department.
