AUGUST 12, 2025, THIRTY-THIRD MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. Board members present were Carper, Ung, Dietrich (absent from closed session), and Nelson, Bittinger II (absent from regular meeting). Staff members present were Karen James, Board Administrative Assistant, Joshua Widman, Assistant County Attorney, Melissa Thomas, Human Resources Director, and Michelle Skaff, Auditor/Clerk to the Board.
Motion by Bittinger second by Nelson to go into joint closed session with LEC Authority {Iowa Code Section 21.5(1)(c)}. Carried 4-0 on roll-call vote.
Bittinger was present by phone.
Dietrich was absent from closed session.
Motion by Nelson second by Carper to go out of closed session with LEC Authority {Iowa Code Section 21.5(1)(c)}. Carried 4-0 on roll-call vote.
The regular meeting was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and a Moment of Silence.
Bittinger was absent from the regular meeting.
Dietrich was in attendance of the regular meeting.

Christopher Prosch, Candidate for State Senate District 1 expressed county concerns he has heard while campaigning.
